2021 Honda Talon 1000X-4 $26,999.00

The Honda Talon family of side by sides have shown the world just how good a sporting side-by-side can be... if you build them the Honda way. And with the addition of our FOX Live Valve-equipped models, they’re even better. Here’s what you need to know: Every Talon in our lineup—the newest four-seaters and our two-seat Talon 1000X and the Talon 1000R models—all share the same industry-exclusive Automatic DCT Transmission, I-4WD technology, complemented by our powerful, high-output engine. And they all offer the combination of performance and rider comfort you expect from a Honda. The differences between our two-seat models? The Talon 1000X is a little narrower and a little shorter (64 inches wide and an 87.6-inch wheelbase). It also uses a three-link rear suspension, which makes it a natural for owners who prioritize maneuverability and quick handling.

Engine Features

  • Powerful 999cc Twin-Cylinder Engine: Sport side-by-sides need power, and you’re sure to find the Talon 1000X-4’s offer plenty of it. The Talon’s 999cc liquid-cooled inline twin delivers the kind of powerful torque and quick-revving horsepower you’d expect from a flagship sport model, but is equally responsive in lower revs and in the critical midrange too. Set longitudinally in the chassis and managed by Honda’s sophisticated PGM-FI engine-mapping system, it delivers the kind of refinement no other side-by-side can match.
  • Unicam Cylinder Head Design: The Talon’s 999cc liquid-cooled inline twin uses the same proven Unicam® cylinder head design found in our championship-winning CRF450R motocrosser. That helps make the engine more compact, which lets us position it for optimal weight distribution and ground clearance.
  • Roller Rocker Arms: Roller-tip rocker arms in the Talon’s valve train help reduce engine friction, facilitate higher, faster revs, and contribute to more efficient engine operation and power. They’re another example of Honda refinement you may not see, but that you’ll feel with every ride.
  • High Lift, Long Duration Camshaft: Giving the Talon’s engine a camshaft with high lift and long duration helps transform the engine. Better breathing helps the Talon make more power, and keeps that power coming all the way to redline.
  • 46mm Throttle Bore Size: Complementing the Talon’s potent camshaft specs, our engineers also gave the engine twin 46mm bores for more airflow and better breathing. You’ll feel it the first time you floor the throttle, and you’ll hear it too, with the Talon’s throaty intake roar.
  • High-Flow Fuel Injectors: Here’s a math lesson that’s anything but boring: More air plus more fuel equals more power. With the hot cam, throttle body and high-flow fuel injectors, the Talon’s engine is the total package for total off-road performance.
  • Offset Dual-Pin Crankshaft: The crankshaft seems such a simple part, but it’s here that so much of the engine’s character is determined. By offsetting the cylinders’ two crankpins by 270 degrees, the Talon’s engine delivers a wide powerband and abundant torque. Counterbalancers keep everything running smooth.
  • Tuned Exhaust: The final part of the Talon’s balanced power equation: better breathing and more fuel delivery require an equally tuned exhaust system. The Talon delivers. Not only does it deliver some beautiful mechanical music, but it helps the engine deliver smooth, even power from partial throttle to wide-open running.
  • High-Capacity Cooling System: Rock crawling, deserts, dunes, and high-altitude operation can all challenge your side-by-side’s cooling system. That’s why we gave all our Talons a high-capacity system. Tested under some of the most arduous conditions we could find, you can rest assured your engine will remain calm, and collected when the going gets tough.
  • Oil-Jet-Cooled Pistons: Another invisible example of Honda’s race-winning engineering. Squirting oil up onto the underside of the Talon’s pistons help them run cooler and seal better. The combination lets the pistons lead an easier life and helps the engine make more power. The design also lets us use lighter pistons, for a faster-revving engine.
  • 10mm Cylinder Offset: By building the Talon’s engine with the cylinder bore 10mm in front of the crankshaft, we change the thrust forces on the pistons’ skirts and faces. That helps the rings seal better. It’s all part of the Honda story—numbers only tell a small part; design details like these make your Talon 1000X-4 the best in class.
  • Spiny Sleeve Cylinder Liner: Another example of Honda’s attention to detail and unmatched engineering. This unique system positively locks the steel cylinder liner and the aluminum cylinder block together. The result is more contact surface area, and that means better engine cooling and heat transfer for superior engine performance.
  • Semi-Dry-Sump Lubrication: Proven in Honda’s racing engines, keeping engine oil away from the crankshaft helps eliminate windage losses. The semi-dry-sump design also helps ensure more positive oiling under the extreme driving conditions a Talon’s driver can experience. Better engine lubrication and longer engine life are the result.
  • Engine Air Intake: To get the most out of your engine, you need the best air going into it. That’s why we positioned the air filter up high over the engine in the rear, and the air intake off to the side. It helps ensure a clean air supply, even at deeper fording depths.
  • Rubber-Mount Engine and Exhaust: Some of the most impressive Talon features are those you’ll never see. In addition to the suspension and ground clearance, we rubber-mounted the engine and exhaust system to insulate the cabin against excessive vibration. We also gave them four engine mounts to add strength under high-performance driving operation.
  • Power: Because Honda’s all-gear Automatic DCT Transmission is so efficient, it has more rear-wheel horsepower than some of the competitors in the class.

Chassis Features

  • FOX Live Valve Suspension: The Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve features FOX Live Valve suspension with 2.5-inch shocks on all four wheels. The system adjusts damping on each shock independently, automatically, and up to 16 times a second for superior ride quality and less pitch and roll over all terrain.
  • Chassis and Suspension: The Talons feature a special, long-wheelbase and high-performance chassis that forms the basis for its superior handling and stability. From there we add long-travel independent front and rear suspension and generous ground clearance. The Talon 1000X-4 gets premium, FOX Podium 2.0 shocks up front and 2.5 shocks out back (with QS3 quick adjustors on all four corners), while the Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve showcases our FOX Live Valve suspension with 2.5 shocks front and rear.
  • 3-Link Rear Suspension: On the Talons, Honda’s 3-link trailing-arm rear suspension is one of the secrets to their superior handling. Both feature 15 inches of rear-wheel travel for a smooth ride and superior control.
  • FOX Live-Valve 2.5 Shocks: Only available on the Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve, these shocks incorporate FOX’s automatically-adjusting Live Valve technology. The shocks are constantly changing their compression damping (each shock independently, in real time). You get less roll in corners, a smoother ride through whoops, and more resistance to bottoming—a deluxe ride overall.
  • FOX QS3 Shocks: The Talon 1000X-4 features FOX Podium 2.0 shocks in front and 2.5 shocks in the rear, all with QS3 quick adjustors. The adjustors are intuitive, with three distinct settings that make it easy to tune your suspension to the terrain or your driving style.
  • High-Performance Disc Brakes: A high-performance side-by-side needs high-performance brakes. The Talon’s power, chassis and suspension travel helps take these side-by-sides to the next level. Front and rear they feature 250mm discs, with 34mm twin-piston calipers in front and 34mm single-piston calipers in the rear. Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) optimizes front and rear braking power under dynamic chassis conditions in two-wheel drive.
  • Independent Front Suspension: Dual A-arm suspension gives you 14.6 inches (14.4 inches - FOX Live Valve) of travel in the front. Pair that with stellar ground clearance and you begin to understand two reasons why the Talons handle so well and are so comfortable in rough terrain.
  • Long Wheelbase: The Talon’s 116.4-inch wheelbase contributes to this sport side-by-side’s tracking, and also gives you a super-smooth ride, plus it gives excellent control in whoops and rough terrain.
  • Front/Rear Weight Balance: Exhaustive testing shows that for serious sport driving, a slight rear weight bias is best. That’s why we set the Talons up with 44 percent of their weight over the front, and 56 percent over the rear. Uphill, downhill, over whoops and in g-outs, the Talon 1000X-4 models just flat-out work.
  • Dual-Rate Springs: The Talon’s suspension springs offer soft initial travel, yet resist bottoming for both comfortable ride and control—the best of both worlds.
  • Skid Plates: Off-road driving is a tough pursuit, and Mother Nature can be harsh. Not to worry—we have your Talons covered. Literally. Generous skid protection armors vulnerable undercarriage and suspension components. Want even more? Check out our accessories lineup.
  • Front Bumper: Here’s something you can see and experience for yourself. The Talon’s standard front bumper offers a degree of vehicle protection some other side-by-sides lack. But this smart design doesn’t compromise performance, because it’s designed to slide smoothly over obstacles in rough approach conditions, enhancing off-road clearance and maneuverability while still offering good protection.
  • Recovery Hook Point: Built in to the Talon’s chassis design, this attaching point makes it easy to secure your Talon for transport, and also makes it easy to hook up a recovery strap when your buddy with some other brand of side-by-side gets stuck. Make him buy you lunch as a payback.

Drivetrain Features

  • Automatic Six-Speed DCT Transmission: The convenience of an automatic with the strength, control, and efficiency of a manual, Honda’s DCT lets you drive the way you want. Choose between manual mode or fully automatic. Plus, the addition of Sport Mode increases the fun, shifting at higher RPMs for a spirited, full-performance driving experience. DCT puts you in control as to what engine speed you want, and what gear ratio. Or you can let it do all the thinking for you. In addition, you also get genuine compression braking and a more efficient power delivery than a belt-driven CVT.
  • I-4WD: The Talons showcase the second generation of our exclusive I-4WD system, specifically tuned to respond quicker and capable of delivering even more drive force. Think “i” for “intelligent,” because that’s exactly what it is. An industry-first brake-traction control system for side-by-sides, it simplifies operation, increases drivability and optimizes traction. Using proven, advanced technology from Honda’s automotive division, you get the benefits associated with a locked front differential with none of the downsides. That means it maintains front-wheel traction even if one wheel wants to spin on ice or mud or if it’s in a hole. But at the same time, you get the lighter steering, better tracking at high speeds, tighter turning radius, and reduced kickback associated with unlocked front differentials. Special software tunes the I-4WD system for sport use.
  • Launch Mode: Nobody wants to get beat off the line, and with a Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve you’ll be the one doing the laughing. It’s the only side-by-side with both an automatic transmission and a launch mode. And it’s easy to use: Just hold down the brake, press the Launch Mode switch, hold both paddle shifters back, floor the gas pedal, and release the paddles. Hold on tight, because you’re going to be feeling serious acceleration. The DCT automatically shifts up too, so you keep going through all the gears. Launch mode even features a special yaw control, so you launch straight and true.
  • Relentless Durability: When it comes to strength and toughness, the Talons lead the way. The oversized 87mm CV joints, beefy 39.7mm propshafts and strong U-joints are all built to survive the loads that low-speed rock crawling can generate—and which cause driveline failures in so many other side-by-sides.
  • Paddle Shifting: Steering column-mounted paddle shifters add a serious dose of performance in every drive. In Manual mode, they let you shift without ever taking your hands off the steering wheel, and in Automatic mode, they let you override the current gear with a quick up or downshift, holding that gear for several seconds before returning to Automatic mode.
  • High/Low Subtransmission: With a full 42-percent gear reduction between High and Low, you get the torque you need in all six gears. That’s sure to come in handy when driving over difficult terrain, scaling hills or rock crawling.
  • Hill Start Assist: Need to stop on an uphill? Honda’s Hill Start Assist automatically holds your Talons in position while you move your foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator—there’s no roll-back drama. It even works on the downhills, too!
  • 2WD/4WD/Shift on the Fly: Want to access as much traction as possible? Put it in I-4WD. Need maximum power at all four wheels? I-4WD eliminates the need for traditional locking differentials. Want to use 2WD for lighter steering or specific terrain? The Talons let you do it all, and the best part is, you can do it all with the push of a button.
  • CV Joint Boot Protection: Tear a CV boot, and it’s only a matter of time until you’ll be making a costly replacement. That’s why we give the Talon 1000X-4 and Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve’s CV joints double protection: First, we design them to tuck up tight covered by the suspension arms. Second, the CV joints themselves get a special guard to offer even more protection.
  • Advanced Transmission Logic: The brain of the DCT, Advanced Transmission Logic, senses how you drive and adapts. Relaxed drivers get earlier shifts for a quieter ride at lower engine speeds. Sportier drivers will hold each gear longer for higher RPM shifts. And when going downhill, you get true engine braking. Now that’s a smart transmission.
  • Spiral Ring and Pinion Rear Final Drive: Spiral-cut gears in your Talon’s final drive mean the load is shared over several teeth, not just one, and that means they’re quieter and produce less vibration too.
  • Center Propshaft Bearing: Since the Talons have a longer wheelbase than our two-seat models, it follows that they have a longer propshaft too. To make it strong and smooth, we fit it with a special center bearing.
  • Propshaft Damper: Here’s another example of Honda attention to detail: The Talon’s propshaft gets a special, cam-type damper. It cuts down on vibration, helps driveline parts last longer, and gives you a smoother ride.
  • Connected Drive Feeling: Compared to a CVT transmission, the Talon’s positive automatic DCT gearbox gives you a far more connected feel with your side-by-side. Combine that with their responsive engine, and you’ll see why a Talon 1000X-4 gives you superior control.
  • Low-Expansion Brake Hoses: By fitting the Talon with low expansion brake hoses, you get better pedal feel and rock-solid braking performance.
  • Electric Power Steering: Standard equipment on all Talon models, our Electric Power Steering system helps eliminate bump steer through rocky and rutted terrain, which reduces fatigue. What makes it even better is the added assist you get when you need it most, like when you’re in 4WD, driving at lower speeds, or maneuvering over rough conditions. Plus, the system is specially tuned to give you the right amount of feedback for sport-driving.

Design Features

  • Stadium Seating: The Talons feature stadium seating for the rear passengers: compared to the front seats their seats are set almost three inches higher and two inches closer to each other, which gives those passengers a much better field of view. They’re not just looking at a pair of helmets in front of them—they get to enjoy the ride like everyone else. Forget about first class and coach—everyone rides first class here.
  • Driver/Passenger Protection: The Talon’s Occupant Protection Structure uses large-diameter tubing, and meets ROHVA’s rollover protection standard. The standard-equipment hard doors and quick-clip side nets help keep debris from entering the cabin. Auto-style three-point seatbelts are equipped with an emergency locking retractor mechanism, to help optimize passenger security. (The Talon 1000X-4 and Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve’s seats are also four-point compatible for competition use.)
  • Painted Body: Why paint and not color-molded plastic? Because the Talon’s painted body parts resist scratching better, and we know that where you’re going to be driving this side-by-side, you won’t want to slow down for a little brush by the side of the trail. Plus, they just look better—the first time you see a Talon in person, we’re sure you’ll agree.
  • Adjustable Driver's Seat: Honda has a ton of data and experience on seats, thanks to our auto division. And while just about every sport side-by-side has an adjustable driver's seat, only the Talon gets it this right. Designed to fit a wide range of operators, it also locks positively in position without wobble, helping make you feel more connected to the vehicle.
  • Tilt Wheel: With a tilt steering wheel, you’re ensured an even more comfortable experience, especially under high-performance driving conditions. The tilt-wheel function also makes it easier to get in and out.
  • Front Passenger “T” Grab Handle: Your front passenger needs a solid way to hold on, but it took the Honda Talons to get this feature right. The “T” handle up front is quick adjustable, but just as important it adjusts solidly and rattle free.
  • Rear Passenger Grab Bar: Your rear passengers get a comfortable, full-width grab bar to hang onto. It’s simple, intuitive, and finger-friendly.
  • LCD Display: The multi-function LCD dash display is large enough to host loads of information, like speed, fuel level, engine speed, transmission mode, fuel gauge, coolant temperature, trip information and more. It even includes a clock, so you’ll always know when it’s time for some fun.
  • Hard Doors: The Talon’s wide front and rear doors (standard equipment) make entry and exit easier for both front- and rear-seat occupants. Plus, the doors use an automotive-style double-latch design that provides a secure, rattle-free feel.
  • Aerodynamic Roof: Typical of Honda’s attention to detail, the Talon’s full-coverage roof is specially designed to divert rainwater away from occupants. And unlike some others, it’s also designed to be aerodynamically cooperative when transporting the vehicle, whether you’re trailering it forward or backward. Standard equipment.
  • Painted Frame and ROPS: The Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve features a special color-matched painted frame and Roll-Over Protection Structure that set it apart visually and help make this side-by-side stand out wherever you go.
  • Twin-Level Front Passenger Footrests: Some side-by-sides treat their occupants like they’re flying in economy class. Not the Talon. You’ve got acres of legroom here, even for six-foot-plus passengers wearing bulky boots. The special two-level front-passenger footrests let you brace yourself solidly over rough terrain, and stretch out when just cruising along. Designed to accommodate a wide range of passengers in comfort.
  • Rear Passenger Legroom: The Talon’s rear seats are designed for full-sized human beings. The rear cabin features plenty of leg- and elbow room, and generous headroom for wearing a helmet too.
  • Comfortable Seats: The Talon’s seats have been designed to be the most comfortable in the industry. They feature a wide seatback and an even wider seat bottom. They don’t rattle. They don’t hold water. They offer tons of lateral support. And the driver’s side is positively adjustable to fit a wide variety of operator heights. They’re even compatible with four-point harnesses for competition use. Your connection to your side-by-side starts here, and even before you start moving, you’ll know a Talon is the right ride for you.
  • Integrated Inner Door Handle: Another “small” detail, but one you and especially your passengers will come to appreciate. All four doors feature an integrated inner door handle, another example of the premium the Talons put on comfort and convenience. You’ll use them dozens of times each weekend, and wonder why all side-by-sides aren’t built this way.
  • Large Cargo Bed: Lunchtime? We’re on it. The Talon’s cargo bed sits up high, out of harm’s way and where it’s easily accessible. Big enough to easily hold a large 45-quart cooler with room to spare, it has a 299-pound capacity (that’s a lot of burgers) and features six strong tie-down points.
  • Door Nets: A small detail? Not when you’ve wrestled with some other designs or aftermarket add-ons out there. On the Talons, our door nets are standard equipment on all four doors. They latch and unlatch quickly and easily. Performance counts, and we’ve made it easier to protect yourself and your passengers from the elements.
  • Accessory Charging Sockets: Need to charge up a phone or navi system while you’re on the go? No problem: we gave the Talons two dedicated 12-volt charging ports, one located in the front and the other for rear-seat passengers.
  • Generous, Secure Cup Holders: Hey, we’re out here to have a good time, and who wants to be thirsty? And that means taking something to drink with you. The Talons feature four cup holders (two in front, two in the rear), and each one securely holds the 30-ounce off-road standard, as well as plenty of other travel cups.
  • Flag Mount: On other side-by-sides, things like a flag mount are an afterthought. Not on a Talon. No detail escapes our designers’ full attention. The Talon’s flag mount is fully integrated into the design, and easy to use.
  • Built in the U.S.A.: The Talons are purpose-built for the American market, right in America. Domestically and globally sourced parts are all assembled at our plant in Timmonsville, South Carolina, and once these side-by-sides roll off the line, they’re ready to explore every corner of the country.
  • Honda Accessories: Right from the start, we’re offering dozens of accessories available direct from your Honda dealer, to help you customize your Talon 1000X-4 or Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve to your individual taste. They look right, fit right, and work right. In addition, many accessories interchange between our two-seat and four-seat Talon models—convenient!

2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour Automatic DCT $29,300.00

The Honda Gold Wing has always been a spectacular touring bike, ever since the first GL1000 back in 1975. And over the years, our engineers have always stayed true to that vision, but they've strived to make the bike better and better. Our 2021 model is a perfect example of that. Refinements abound, but the best parts remain the same. You'll still have your choice of both manual-transmission models and Gold Wings featuring our exclusive automatic DCT transmission, but this year the trunk is bigger for more road-trip storage, the speakers have a higher 45-watt rating, and the passenger seat on our Tour models is improved. We also freshened up some styling touches, like solid red tail lights and paint choices—check out the grey with orange accent stripe on our no-trunk models! Plus, all Gold Wings are now Android Auto compatible, as well as offering Apple CarPlay. All in all, a truly great motorcycle gets even better—so your dream ride has everything you'll need to make memories that last a lifetime.

Performance Features

  • Engine: The Gold Wing's horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine is famously smooth and powerful. The latest version is an 1833cc design that's over 13 pounds lighter than the previous generation (more than 8 pounds for the DCT versions). STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS

The shifts in this version are faster and smoother than ever, and the overdrive seventh gear is perfect for highway cruising. STANDARD ON: GOLD WING DCT, GOLD WING TOUR DCT, GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT
  • Slipper Clutch: We've given our manual-transmission Gold Wings a slipper clutch, just like our premium sportbikes. It only makes sense—the 1833cc engine delivers tons of power, and the stellar chassis lets you ride this Gold Wing like a sportbike. Twisty roads? Bring 'em on! STANDARD ON: GOLD WING, GOLD WING TOUR
  • Double-Wall Exhaust Pipes: You may think this is just for cosmetics, but on a hot day single-wall exhaust pipes can throw off a lot of heat. The Gold Wing's twin-wall design keeps things cooler. Plus, this is the best sounding Gold Wing we've ever built! STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Fuel Efficiency: Because the 2021 Gold Wing is light, you'd expect it to be fuel efficient. But its weight is just the start. Combined with the bike's engine, intake system, and four-valve design, estimated fuel economy is up 22 percent from the previous generation.* Want to really squeeze the last mile out of every drop? Try the “Econ" ride mode setting. *Honda's fuel economy estimates are based on EPA exhaust emission measurement test procedures and are intended for comparison purposes only. Your actual mileage will vary depending on how you ride, how you maintain your vehicle, weather, road conditions, tire pressure, installation of accessories, cargo, rider and passenger weight, and other factors. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Walking Mode: All Gold Wings with DCT transmissions feature “Walking Mode," which lets you creep forward under power at a walking pace. Think how easy it will be to get in and out of tight parking spots with a fully loaded bike. STANDARD ON: GOLD WING DCT, GOLD WING TOUR DCT, GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT
  • Cruise Control: Of course the 2021 Gold Wing still features cruise control—it was one of the first touring bikes to offer the feature. And with our advanced throttle-by-wire system, it's better than ever. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS

Handling Features

  • Double Wishbone Front Suspension: One look and your eyes will immediately go to the Gold Wing's radical, Honda-engineered double-wishbone front suspension. The innovative design changes the path the wheel travels through the suspension stroke, and that lets us move both the engine and the rider/passenger closer to the front wheel. You get more room, and stellar handling. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Frame: This latest generation all-aluminum frame is significantly lighter and more compact than previous editions. State-of-the-art die-casting lets us fine-tune chassis rigidity, giving you both a smooth ride and precise handling. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Swing Arm/Rear Suspension: Using our proprietary single-sided Pro Arm® design, the aluminum swingarm houses the Gold Wing's shaft drive. The swingarm links to the frame using a patented pivot structure that both increases stiffness and reduces weight. You get responsive handling and a smoother ride. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Ride Modes: Gold Wing engines offer a wide range of user-friendly power, and you can even choose between four ride modes (Tour, Sport, Rain, and Econ). Each mode varies power output depending on the mode selected. On the Gold Wing Tour models, it also changes suspension damping, and the shift points on the DCT models. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Anti-Lock Brakes: Have to make a hard stop, fully loaded and two up? All our 2021 Gold Wings are equipped with combined anti-lock brakes for excellent stopping power under a wide variety of road and traction conditions. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Light Is Right: Shaving weight on a motorcycle returns all sorts of benefits, from handling to acceleration to just being easier to maneuver around. We didn't just shave ounces or grams with the latest Gold Wing. We lopped off almost 90 pounds compared to the previous generation. The lighter weight absolutely redefines this motorcycle. You thought it was fun to ride on twisty roads before? Wait until you experience this one. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Low Center Of Gravity: It's not just how much a motorcycle weighs; it's how it distributes that weight. Thanks to their horizontally opposed engines, Gold Wings have always offered a low center of gravity. The 2021 Gold Wing offers the lowest center of gravity of any bike in the class. That's a huge benefit in handling, and it makes the bike feel lighter and easier to maneuver. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Radial Front Brake Calipers: The brake calipers on the Gold Wing are mounted similar to that of our World Champion RC213V MotoGP racebike. Why? The stiffer mounting reduces caliper flex and improves brake power and feel. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Electronic Suspension Preload: The Gold Wing Tour's suspension features four electronically adjustable modes for varying loads. You can select (1) Rider, (2) Rider with loaded bags, (3) Rider and passenger, and (4) Rider and passenger with loaded bags. STANDARD ON: GOLD WING TOUR, GOLD WING TOUR DCT, GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT

Engineering Features

  • Throttle By Wire: The 2021 Gold Wing's throttle-by-wire system enables features like the bike's four ride modes and our exclusive Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), available on our Gold Wing Tour models. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Hill Start Assist: Both the Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour models feature Hill Start Assist (HSA). This feature momentarily holds your motorcycle's position on inclines after you've released the brakes and before you apply the throttle, eliminating any roll-back drama. It's a great convenience when starting from a stop on a hill. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Smart Key: Your new Gold Wing features an electronic smart key. When the key is in close proximity (say, in your jacket pocket), you can just hop on, press a button, and ride off. An “answer back" feature lets you find your bike in the dark or in crowded rally parking. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Integrated Starter Generator (Isg): Most cars and motorcycles have separate starters and alternators. Not your new Gold Wing. We've combined the starter and alternator into one assembly that's light and compact. It's part of the Gold Wing's overall weight-savings program, and you'll hear the difference the first time you press the start button. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Reverse: Gold Wing DCT models offer an exclusive low-speed reverse that uses engine power, while the Gold Wing Tour with manual transmission offers a unique electric reverse. Both systems make it easy to maneuver your bike out of a parking space, especially if you need to roll back up hill. STANDARD ON: GOLD WING DCT, GOLD WING TOUR, GOLD WING TOUR DCT, GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT
  • Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC): On our Gold Wing Tour models, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) constantly monitors your bike's rear-wheel speed, and adjusts torque instantly. It's a great feature when riding in the rain, on sandy, gritty roads, over wet leaves, or anywhere else where surface conditions can compromise traction. STANDARD ON: GOLD WING TOUR, GOLD WING TOUR DCT, GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT
  • LED Lighting: All 2021 Gold Wing models feature a complete LED lighting package. The headlights, the taillights, and every bit of instrumentation is LED. LEDs not only last longer, but they're also lighter and run cooler. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Nano-Tech Paint: Even the Gold Wing's paint is high tech, using BASF's nano technology. The darks look darker, and the lights look brighter. The paint itself has a luxurious wet look. The Gold Wing is available in a luxurious Deep Pearl Gray with a standard or DCT transmission. The Gold Wing Tour and Tour DCT come in two colors (Candy Ardent Red and Metallic Black). The Gold Wing Tour Airbag DCT model is available in Candy Ardent Red. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Airbag: The Gold Wing pioneered the concept of a motorcycle airbag, and the 2021 Gold Wing continues to lead the way. Available on our Tour Airbag DCT model, it goes that extra mile towards increased rider safety. You also get an exclusive Candy Ardent Red paint scheme. STANDARD ON: GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT
  • Turn Signals: You'll notice that the Gold Wing's front turn signals are integrated into the rearview mirrors, and use three LEDs each. The rear LED turn signals are built into the tail- and brake-light assembly for a clean, integrated look. Best of all, they're self-cancelling. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Optional Lights: Lighten up! Accessory LED lighting for your Gold Wing includes optional fog lamps, an additional brake light that integrates into the upper portion of the Gold Wing Tour's trunk, and lights for inside the trunk and saddlebags that automatically illuminate when the luggage is opened.

Comfort And Cargo Features

  • Electric Windscreen: You'll notice a couple of things about the Gold Wing's windscreen. First, it's electrically controlled, moving both up and down over an 4.9-inch range for the Gold Wing Tour (4.1 inches for the Gold Wing) as well as changing its angle as it raises and lowers. Plus, it automatically remembers the last setting. Because you sit closer to the windscreen, it has a narrower, lower, more sporting profile, yet still offers excellent protection. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • New Larger Trunk: Here's some big news for 2021—or should we say bigger news? That's because we've made the Gold Wing's trunk bigger. It now holds 61 liters, up 11 liters from last year's models. That means in most cases you can get two XXL full-face helmets in there. Combined, the trunk and saddlebags give you 121 liters of storage, plenty to hold what you need for a weekend's travels. Accessories include an integrated brake light, an auto-on interior light, and a luggage rack. STANDARD ON: GOLD WING TOUR, GOLD WING TOUR DCT, GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT
  • Fairing: Back in the 1980s, the Gold Wing was the first bike to introduce full-coverage fairings as original equipment, and this latest one is one of our best. It offers excellent wind and weather protection, yet is trimmer and more aerodynamic than in previous generation models. It also flows more air through refined ducting, helping keep you cooler on hot summer days. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Rider/Passenger Location: The shorter engine and innovative front suspension let us move the rider farther forward, enhancing the bike's handling and making you feel more connected to the motorcycle's steering axis. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Integrated Passenger Grab Handle: Once a passenger has ridden on a Gold Wing, there's no going back. Functional design touches like the integrated passenger grab handle help make your copilot's riding experience an absolute pleasure, especially on longer rides. STANDARD ON: GOLD WING TOUR, GOLD WING TOUR DCT, GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT
  • Human Machine Interface (Hmi): Ever have to scroll through some abstract menu to access a feature on your electronic device? You'll find plenty of simple, dedicated switches and controls on your Gold Wing's handlebars, ergonomically placed, which give you simple, intuitive control inputs that zero out frustration. There is also a centralized control knob in the console similar to modern autos. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • New Passenger Backrest: We changed up the angle of the passenger backrest on our Tour models (from 17 degrees to 24.5 degrees), increased its height, and added more cushion. It's always been a great seat, but now it's like your favorite easy chair at home! STANDARD ON: GOLD WING TOUR, GOLD WING TOUR DCT, GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT
  • Rider/Passenger Seating: Here's another refinement for 2021, on our Gold Wing Tour models. The seats feature a new, suede-like cover. The rider on every Gold Wing model can enjoy an optional backrest, and on our Gold Wing models without a trunk, there's also an optional backrest for the passenger. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Luggage: All 2021 Gold Wings feature integrated saddlebags, designed to hold enough for most weekend trips. The bags open electronically with the push of a button, and lock and unlock remotely with the smart key. They're hydraulically damped for smooth operation, too. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Functional Styling: Sometimes less is more, at least when it comes to motorcycles. We've noted that the Gold Wing is lighter, more responsive, more athletic than in previous generations. That goes for its styling as well. While the bodywork still offers excellent weather protection, it's crisper now, exposing a little more of the engine and chassis. It's definitely not your grandfather's touring bike. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Over 50 Accessories: Gold Wing riders are incredibly engaged when it comes to accessorizing their motorcycles. And we have you covered. We have over 50 accessories available that look right, fit right, and are built to Honda's high standards. Time to make that new bike yours and yours alone!
  • Heated Grips: Part of riding a bike is enjoying the elements. But nobody likes being cold. That's why every 2021 Gold Wing comes equipped with electric grips as standard equipment. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Heated Seats: Now we're talking about riding in the lap of luxury (no pun intended). In addition to heated grips, every Gold Wing Tour model also comes with heated seats for both you and your passenger. STANDARD ON: GOLD WING TOUR, GOLD WING TOUR DCT, GOLD WING TOUR AIRBAG DCT

Electronics Features

  • Homelink®: Available as an optional feature, HomeLink® lets you integrate your new Gold Wing with devices in your home. A typical example: you can open your home's garage door without any dedicated controller—just touch a switch on your bike's center console. No more fumbling, and no hassle.
  • Tire Pressure Monitoring System (Tpms): Correct tire inflation is a necessity for safe, economical motorcycling. And it's especially critical with a touring bike, because of the varying loads. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) automatically warns you of low tire pressure on all Gold Wing models. On Gold Wing Tour models, including a readout of the actual front and rear pressure in PSI is a premium touch. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Advanced Meters: The Gold Wing's cockpit meters are information central. In addition to the basics like vehicle and engine speed, loading configuration, ride mode, fuel level, engine temperature and dual tripmeters, you can also monitor outside air temperature, cruise control speed, heater levels and even selected apps linked through CarPlay® on an Apple® iPhone® or Android Auto on an android phone. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Apple Carplay™ Integration: A first for the motorcycle industry! Apple's CarPlay™*1 seamlessly integrates your iPhone®*1 into your new Gold Wing. That means you can use your iPhone® to access Apple Maps®, Apple Music®, and other services easily. You'll have access to weather, playlists and telephone numbers while aboard. Available Bluetooth®*2-enabled wireless headsets let you communicate more easily than ever. And best of all, with more apps available every day, Apple CarPlay™ keeps your bike's technology and convenience on the cutting edge. *1 Apple CarPlay and iPhone are the trademarks of Apple Inc. *2 For using Apple CarPlay, connection to a commercially available Bluetooth headset is necessary. See owner's manual for Bluetooth headset requirements. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Android Auto Integration: Do you prefer an Android phone? We have you covered! Now the 2021 Gold Wing fully integrates with your phone, thanks to Android Auto. That means you can connect your android phone to your Gold wing to access Google Assistant, and to use navigation tools like Google Maps, Waze, and more. Plus, you'll have access to weather, playlists, music-streaming services and telephone numbers. Available Bluetooth*-compatible headsets let you communicate easily too. *For using Android Auto, connection to a commercially available Bluetooth headset is necessary. Please refer to your Bluetooth headset manufacturer for optimal audio settings for use with Android Auto. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Vehicle Settings: Your new Gold Wing is packed with smart rider aids. A glance at the dash keeps you informed of things like ride mode (Tour, Sport, Rain, Econ), rear suspension preload settings (solo, with passenger, loaded, unloaded on Tour models), tire pressure* and much more. *Depending on chosen model. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Navi: Every Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour is equipped with a big, bright, seven-inch full-color TFT LCD screen to display routes and other navigation information. Plus, since it's equipped with a gyrocompass, the system even functions inside a tunnel. Independent of the Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto feature, it works with or without your phone. Added bonus only by Honda: 10 years of free map updates! STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • Audio: Your new Gold Wing's audio system is an excellent example of state-of-the-art electronic technology. In addition to listening to music, with an available Bluetooth* headset you can make or answer phone calls without taking off your helmet. In addition to a standard USB connector, options include a separate passenger audio control switch, a high-output amplifier and speakers, Sirius XM® satellite radio, a CB radio, and more. Plus, there's a second USB connector in the left saddlebag of all Gold Wing models. *See owner's manual for Bluetooth headset requirements. STANDARD ON: ALL TRIMS
  • 45-Watt Speakers: Gold Wings have always offered excellent sound systems, but for 2021 they just got even better. The speakers now have a higher 45-watt rating, and we've optimized both the equalizer settings and automatic volume adjustment, so you'll get a sound that's a little richer and more pleasing to the ears. 2021 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe $18,299.00

What's the right number of people for a job? Trick question, right? You need to tailor your crew to your needs—and that's exactly what Honda's Pioneer 1000-5 family of side-by-sides does so well. With room for five occupants, all three models feature the same core values: smart technology, superior materials, and refined engineering, along with Honda's world-famous reputation for reliability and quality. The biggest difference from our three-seat models? These Pioneers include Honda's QuickFlip seating in the bed, letting you instantly switch from a fold-flat bed configuration to comfortable passenger seating. In short, our Pioneer 1000-5 models make a versatile line of side-by-sides even more versatile.

Performance Features

  • Powerful 999cc Twin-Cylinder Engine: When you know the power you need is always at the ready, every drive is an enjoyable experience. And that's precisely what you get out of the class-leading 999cc liquid-cooled inline twin. Using the same Unicam® cylinder head design found in our motocross bikes, it's more compact in size, and it still delivers the kind of horsepower and torque you'd expect from a flagship model.
  • 2000-Pound Towing Capacity: Call it 2000 pounds, or call it 1 ton. Either way, the towing capacity of the Pioneer 1000-5 is unsurpassed by any competitor. So instead of hopping on the tractor or taking out the truck, you can stay right in your side-by-side and tackle those bigger jobs with relative ease.
  • Built In The U.S.A.: The Pioneer 1000-5 is purpose-built for the American market, right in America. Domestically and globally sourced parts are all assembled at our plant in Timmonsville, South Carolina, and once these side-by-sides roll off the line, they're ready to explore every corner of the country.
  • Fully-Automatic Six-Speed DCT Transmission: Drive the way you want, with the industry's first and only 6-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. Choose between manual mode or fully automatic. Plus, the addition of Sport Mode increases the fun, shifting at higher RPMs for a spirited, full-performance driving experience.
  • High/Low Subtransmission: With a full 42-percent gear reduction between High and Low, you get the torque you need in all 6 gears. It comes in handy when driving over difficult terrain, scaling steep hills or towing heavy loads.
  • Hill Start Assist: Need to stop on a steep uphill? Honda's Hill Start Assist automatically holds the Pioneer 1000-5 Limited Edition in position while you move your foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator—there's no roll-back drama.

Handling Features

  • Chassis And Suspension: Prepare to go further than ever before. Our refined chassis enables you to tackle terrain others would shy away from, with larger tires, long-travel independent front and rear suspension and huge ground clearance. The rubber mounted engine and exhaust system insulates against excessive vibration and the self-leveling rear suspension compensation for changing loads. Plus, the Pioneer 1000-5 Limited Edition gets premium, quick-adjust FOX QS-3 shocks on all four corners.
Now that's a smart transmission.
  • Bigger Tires: Practically speaking, the 27-inch tires on 12-inch rims help increase ground clearance, improve ride comfort, and deliver better traction. Realistically speaking, they just look great. And on Deluxe and Limited Edition models, you get Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires with radial construction and premium style.
  • Electric Power Steering: Our Electric Power Steering system helps eliminate bump steer through rocky and rutted terrain, which reduces fatigue. What makes it even better is the added assist you get when you need it most, like when you're in 4WD, driving at lower speeds, or maneuvering over rough conditions. Standard on all 2021 Pioneer 1000-5 models.
  • Electronic Brakeforce Distribution: Heading down a hill? Is the bed loaded or empty? Honda's Electronic Brakeforce Distribution automatically proportions the force to the front and rear brakes with changing conditions—all you do is press the brake pedal. (Standard on the Pioneer 1000-5 Limited Edition model.)
  • Independent Front And Rear Suspension: Dual A-arm suspension gives you 10.5 inches of travel in the front, and 10-inches of travel in the rear. Pair that with stellar ground clearance, and you maximize available traction and superior comfort maneuvering over terrain other side-by-sides would shy away from.
  • Paddle Shifting: Steering column-mounted paddle shifters add a serious dose of performance in every drive. In Manual mode, they let you shift without ever taking your hands off the wheel, and in Automatic mode, they let you override the current gear with a quick up or downshift, holding that gear for several seconds before returning to Automatic mode. For 2021, the whole Pioneer 1000-5 lineup offers this feature.
  • Turf/2wd/4wd/Diff Lock: Don't tear up sensitive surfaces. Select Turf Mode. Want to access as much traction as possible? Put it in 4WD. Need maximum power at all four wheels? Lock the front and rear differentials. And the best part is, you can do it all with a shift of a single lever.

Versatility Features

  • QuickFlip® Seating: Want to bring an extra one or two passengers along for the ride? Two QuickFlip® seats pop up from the cargo bed on Pioneer 1000-5 models, giving you the extra seating you need, when you need it. Exclusive to Honda, it's a smarter system than fixed seat, multi-row models, giving you better maneuverability on the trails.
  • 1000-Pound-Capacity Tilt Bed: There are a ton of reasons to buy a Pioneer 1000-5. Among them: the half-ton hauling capacity*. No side-by-side can haul more, and when it comes to dumping, we've made it easier than ever, with a hydraulic assist tilt bed lever that can be accessed from outside the vehicle, or right from the driver's seat. *600 pound bed capacity for CA models
  • Color-Match Door And Bedside Panels: Want to change the color of your Pioneer when hunting season rolls around? No problem. Our door and bedside panels can be easily swapped out for a different color scheme if and when you need it. This feature comes in particularly handy in case a panel sustains any damage on the job or trail. Available on 2021 Pioneer Deluxe and Limited Edition models.
  • Engine Air Intake: To get the most out of your engine, you need the best air going into it. That's why we positioned the air intake up high under the hood. It helps ensure a clean air supply, even at deeper fording depths, and with a viscous air filter element, you get increased performance and longer service intervals.

Comfort Features

  • 3-Person Contoured Bench Seat: Tough, durable and built to enhance every driving experience — yes, we're talking about the seat. Contoured for three passengers, the center seat is positioned up and forward to maximize space and comfort, and the covering is designed to resist both the elements and heavy use.
  • LCD Display: The multi-function LCD dash display is large enough to host loads of information, in an easy-to-read way, like speed and fuel level. RPM and transmission mode. Fuel gauge, water temperature, trip information and more. It even includes a clock, so you'll always know when it's time for some fun.
  • Self-Load Leveling Rear Suspension: Even when you push your Pioneer 1000-5 to the limits, you compromise nothing. Just take the load-leveling suspension with cargo, passengers or both piled into the back — the rear suspension automatically adjusts to the weight change. So you maintain ground clearance, comfort and handling, without compromises.
  • Sophisticated Chassis: Some of the most impressive Pioneer 1000-5 features are those you'll never see. In addition to the suspension and ground clearance, we rubber-mounted the engine and exhaust system to insulate the cabin against excessive vibration. So while you may not see this feature, it's one you will definitely notice.
  • Tilt Wheel: With a tilt steering wheel, you're ensured an even more comfortable driving experience. We've given the wheel a wide range of adjustments for optimum customization, and it even moves very far forward to allow for easy entry and exit. Standard on all 2021 Pioneer 1000-5 models.

Safety Features

  • Four-Wheel Disc Brakes: The Pioneer's uncompromising power helps take you further than ever before. The reliable disc brakes help you stop on a dime. Built to the same standard as you'd find in our autos, the four-wheel disc brakes minimize debris from building up, ensuring consistent performance, and giving you confidence on the trail.
  • Driver/Passenger Protection: The Occupant Protection Structure uses large-diameter tubing, and meets OSHA's rollover protection standard. The hard doors and roll-up side nets help keep debris from entering the cabin, and auto-style three-point seatbelts are equipped with an emergency locking retractor mechanism, to help optimize passenger security. When you put this much safety first, fun is sure to follow.

2021 Honda Africa Twin DCT $15,199.00

Has there ever been a better time to be an adventure-bike rider? And has taking your next vacation on an adventure bike ever looked better either? Honda's Africa Twin lineup is so good it's an embarrassment of riches. Technology. Comfort. Reliability you can count on, come rain or shine, continent-crossing journeys or weekend getaways. Features like cruise control and touch-screen technology make it a great tourer, while its rugged construction and off-road refinements let you wander from horizon to horizon on the path less travelled. And best of all, there are four different Africa Twins to choose from. Our standard Africa Twin is a great choice for serious off-road enthusiasts. For long-distance adventure touring, check out our two Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES models: They offer special features like electronically controlled suspension, an adjustable windscreen, larger fuel tank, heated grips, tubeless tires, and more. Plus, both are available with either a manual transmission or Honda's automatic DCT transmission, one of the best technical-riding advantages ever.

Power Features

  • 1084cc Twin-Cylinder Engine: The CRF1100L Africa Twin sports one of the best engines ever in an adventure bike. The parallel-twin design is narrow, and delivers torque everywhere from idle to redline. You'll have more grunt down low, and cruise easy on the open road.
  • Parallel-Twin Engine Layout: The Africa Twin's parallel-twin engine layout makes the bike shorter front-to-back. That means the front wheel can tuck in closer to the engine, shortening wheelbase and making the bike more nimble off road and on pavement.
  • Twin Intakes: The Africa Twin uses a unique twin air-intake design with two vertical filtration elements. All that clean air helps the engine deliver excellent performance, even under prolonged operation in dusty conditions.
  • Unicam Engine Design: Honda's exclusive Unicam® engine design helps us give the Africa Twin a compact cylinder head for optimal engine placement. But the engine also benefits from superior performance, thanks to the entire cylinder-head layout. It's the best of both worlds!
  • Compact Dual-Catalyzer Exhaust: Using the same muffler-valve technology as our CBR1000RR Superbike, the Africa Twins' new exhaust silencer helps lower emissions while highlighting ridability and power output.

Engineering Features

  • Cruise Control: Here's one of the worst-kept secrets in the motorcycling world—Honda's Africa Twins make great long-distance touring bikes. To that end, we've equipped our Africa Twin models with cruise control, just like our Gold Wings. Your next adventure really starts a couple of hundred miles away? No problem!
  • Throttle By Wire: Our throttle-by-wire system greatly expands the Africa Twin's versatility. First, you get seven levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control. Second, you can choose from four power delivery modes: Tour, Urban, Gravel, and a fourth that's user-programmable. First used on our RC213V-S, throttle-by-wire is an excellent example of how Honda's technology works for you.
  • Selectable ABS: Our 2021 Africa Twin models offer two ABS modes: on-road and off-road. A third setting lets you turn the rear ABS off altogether for riding in the dirt.
  • 270-Degree-Phase Crank: Most twins use a 180-degree crank. By phasing the Africa Twin's at 270 degrees, you get a unique power delivery that's easy to modulate, especially in terrain where traction is challenging.
  • Cornering Anti-Lock Brakes: The Africa Twin's Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) comes standard integrated with a 6-axis IMU, it knows when you're leaned over, and compensates accordingly.
  • Dry-Sump Engine: The Africa Twin's dry-sump engine design is the only way to go. The more compact sump increases ground clearance and eliminates the vulnerability of a conventional wet sump.
  • Low Center Of Gravity, Compact Mass: By locating heavy components like the battery as close to the bike's center of gravity as possible, and using a compact engine, the Africa Twin provides a superior platform for excellent handling.
  • Water Pump: Can you see the Africa Twin's water pump? Trick question! It's tucked behind the right side cover, out of harm's way. There are no vulnerable hoses leading to it either, a weakness on some bikes. Driven by the balancer shaft, in case of a tip-over or in rocky sections, it's one less thing to worry about.
  • Lightweight Lithium-Ion Battery: Conventional batteries are notoriously heavy—that's why we gave the Africa Twin a high-tech, lightweight lithium-ion battery. Compared with a similar lead-acid battery, it holds a charge approximately four times longer, and its shelf life is 1.6 times longer. Plus, it's way lighter.

Handling Features

  • Long-Travel Front Suspension: The Africa Twin doesn't just look like an adventure bike—it's the real deal. Exhibit A: Check out its long-travel front suspension. The inverted Showa fork is fully adjustable with huge 45mm tubes and 9.1 inches of travel—the most front-end travel in the 1000cc off-road class.
  • Steel Frame: This second generation of Africa Twin features a frame that is almost four pounds lighter than our earlier bikes. And while it may be lighter, we fine-tuned it by making the steering head more resistant to twist.
  • Semi-Double-Cradle-Frame: The Africa Twin's semi-double-cradle frame layout has been proven in countless Honda dirtbikes. In principle it's similar to the design we use on our CRF450R Rally bike—a machine that's designed to perform in the challenging Dakar rally and similar events.
  • Four-Piston Calipers: Up front, the Africa Twin features twin four-piston brake calipers for powerful braking performance. The radial-mount design also helps make them stiffer, increasing brake feel and control.
  • 43-Degree Steering Lock: With 43 degrees of steering lock both left and right, the Africa Twin provides excellent maneuverability on tight trails. This is one of the reasons the Africa Twin feels so much more nimble than many of the other bigger adventure bikes out there.
  • Refined Swingarm: The 2021 Africa Twin's swingarm is light and strong, because it uses technology developed on our CRF450R motocrosser.
  • Hollow Axle Shafts: The Africa Twin uses large-diameter hollow steel axles front and rear. They're super strong, durable, but also light: a combination which describes just about everything associated with this bike.
  • Honda Selectable Torque Control: The Africa Twin's throttle-by-wire system lets us offer Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). You can dial in exactly the kind of power delivery you want for the conditions at hand. Honda Selectable Torque Control features seven settings for a wide range of conditions, from pavement to fast, loose fire roads to challenging singletrack. You can also turn it off.
  • Wheelie Control: Front and rear wheel-speed sensors working with the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) let you dial in three levels of wheelie control. There's also an "off" position—you're the wheelie control here.
  • Riding Modes: Both manual-transmission and DCT models offer six riding modes: Tour, Urban, Gravel, Off-Road, User 1 and User 2. The last two let you customize the system to your individual preference.
  • Rear Suspension: Not only is the Africa Twin's rising-rate Pro-Link® rear suspension fully adjustable, it offers a 220mm stroke for 8.7 inches of rear-wheel travel. Even better, there's a special remote preload adjuster—you just turn a convenient knob, and you can compensate for varying loads like a passenger or full panniers.
  • Tires And Wheels: Real adventure bikes use spoked wheels because they better survive the dings and hits of off-road riding. All Africa Twin models feature a 21-inch front and an 18-inch rear for superior performance, especially when it comes to off-road riding.

Convenience Features

  • Apple Carplay™: Apple CarPlay™* seamlessly integrates your compatible iPhone®* into your new Africa Twin. That means you can use your iPhone® to access Apple Maps, Apple Music, and other services easily. You'll have access to weather, playlists and telephone numbers while aboard. Available Bluetooth®**-enabled wireless headsets let you communicate more easily than ever. And best of all, with more apps available every day, Apple CarPlay™ keeps your bike's technology and convenience on the cutting edge. *Apple CarPlay and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. **For using Apple CarPlay, connection to a commercially available Bluetooth headset is necessary. See owner's manual for Bluetooth headset requirements.
  • TFT Touchscreen Display: The Africa Twins feature a 6.5-inch touch-panel LCD multi-information dash display. You can choose between three displays, too, depending on how much information you want to see at once. The screen also enables the Africa Twin to offer integrated Apple CarPlay.
  • Optional Aluminum Luggage: Our optional three-piece hard luggage is sure to be one of your favorite accessories. All three bags feature weather-resistant liners, and the top box is big enough to hold a full-face helmet. And all three boxes use the same locking key, too.
  • Six-Speed Manual Transmission: The Africa Twin features a conventional six-speed manual gearbox with a handlebar-mounted clutch lever. It's a proven, tough design that's a little bit lighter, too.
  • Large Fuel Tanks: Our Africa Twin and Africa Twin DCT feature 18.8-liter (5.0-gallon) fuel tanks, while our two Adventure Sports ES models increase that capacity to 24-liters (6.3 gallons), enough for super-sized adventures.

Comfort Features

  • Taller Handlebar: Last year we raised the handlebar 22.5mm higher. That helps open up the cockpit, and works in concert with the seat and windscreen to give you a more comfortable rider's triangle for those long days in the saddle.
  • Tapered Aluminum Handlebar: Another example of fitting premium equipment to the Africa Twin wherever we can, the aluminum handlebar is lighter than a steel unit. The design tapers from a thinner diameter under your grips to a thicker section at the top clamp, and is fine-tuned for optimal flex and rigidity.
  • Narrower Rear Subframe: Two things here: First, the aluminum subframe is removable, to aid in servicing and repairs. Second, we narrowed it by 40mm last year. That helps the whole bike feel narrower and more nimble—a big plus in challenging terrain.
  • Narrow Seat: We made special efforts to keep the Africa Twin's seat narrow. That makes it easier to move around on the bike, and also makes it easier to get a foot on the ground at stoplights or in parking lots.
  • Rally-Type Fairing: Long-distance riders know there's no substitute for a real fairing, which is why we spent so many hours getting the Africa Twin's just right. It gives you a great balance between wind- and weather protection, without being too bulky or top-heavy for serious off-road riding.
  • Biaxial Counterbalance: By using counterbalancing elements on two axes, Honda's engineers can cancel out both primary and coupling vibrations from the engine. The result is that we can mount the engine solidly for superior strength and handling, yet you still get an extraordinarily smooth, vibration-free ride.
  • Athletic Riding Position: Adventure riding is an active sport, and that means you need to be able to move around on your bike naturally and athletically. The Africa Twin is extremely narrow where you sit, and the peg-bar-seat triangle lets you move up and forward and far back as well, to enhance handling, especially under demanding trail conditions.
  • Full Accessory Lineup: Right from the start, you can outfit your new CRF1100L Africa Twin with a full range of Honda accessories, items like a centerstand, quick shifter, top and side boxes, a rally seat, rally footpegs, and much more.

2021 Honda CBR1000RR $16,499.00

Open-class four-cylinder liter bikes have long been the holy grail for the best sportbike riders. Powerful, precise machines that stand at the very top of motorcycling's hierarchy. On the track, they command your full attention. On the street, they give you a ride like nothing else with a license plate. And make no mistake: Honda's 2021 CBR1000RR and CBR1000RR ABS are two of the best you'll ever ride. Spectacular, refined handling. Immediate, absolute power. And all in a package that offers Honda's legendary quality, and a level of comfort and rideability no racebike can match. Machines like these are a rare breed, and so are their riders. But once you experience a CBR1000RR, it's hard to be truly satisfied with anything less.

Performance Features

  • Hi-Performance Four-Cylinder Engine: Featuring high-compression 13:1 pistons, the CBR1000RR revs like only a flat-plane inline-four can. It also makes ten horsepower more than our previous generation of CBR10000RR.
  • Dual-Stage Fuel Injection: The CBR1000RR features two sets of injectors per cylinder for both low- and high-rpm performance, instantaneous high-rpm response and great low-rpm metering and clean running. Refined EFI settings make the engine even more manageable, with smoother throttle response specifically at smaller throttle openings.
  • Honda Electric Steering Damper (HESD): Most steering dampers only sense handlebar-deflection speed. The Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) is way more sophisticated. It also detects vehicle speed, and adjusts damping proportionally. That helps maintain low-speed maneuverability while providing excellent, predictable high-speed handling.
  • Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC): With Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), we've got your back, but you're in control. Here's how it works: The system automatically adjusts engine power and grip to optimize torque at the rear wheel, reducing rear-wheel slip. You get your choice of five power curves, ten torque-control levels, three engine-braking levels, and now three selectable levels of wheelie control so it's easier than ever to dial your bike in at the track.
  • Throttle By Wire: The CBR1000RR's throttle-by-wire system works in concert with our Honda Selectable Torque Control. With the two, you get your choice of three engine power-delivery modes, plus two which you can custom program yourself.

Handling Features

  • Lightweight Sub-Frame: Almost a full pound lighter than our previous generation, the CBR1000RR sub-frame further refines our mass centralization efforts. Light is always right, and this is the lightest CBR1000RR we've ever produced.
  • Slimmer Ergonomics: The CBR1000RR is much slimmer than previous models in the tank/seat junction area, and also in the upper cowl (more than 24mm trimmer). This improves aerodynamics, and the narrow tank makes it easier to tuck in.

Engineering Features

  • Thin Film Transfer Display: TFT means an instrument display that's lighter and easier to read than previous LCD designs. It's a first for Honda, and it's made its premiere on the CBR1000RR.
  • Assisted Slipper Clutch: Superbikes can deliver a great deal of back-torque through the driveline, upsetting handling—not the CBR1000RR models. Its Honda-designed assisted slipper clutch is the same type used on our MotoGP bikes. The design does away with the need for heavy clutch springs, ensuring full power transmission with smooth shifting and a light clutch pull at the lever.
  • Efficient Radiator Design: Almost an inch narrower than on our previous-generation CBR1000RR, and featuring a high-density core. Plus the radiator tucks in tighter and cools just as efficiently.

Design Features

  • Full LED Lighting Package: Headlights, tail lights, turn signals—with the CBR1000RRs it's all done with lightweight, efficient, cool LEDs.

  • Engine Type: 998cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder
